RESPONSE: I created a window display from outside to inside the room. This was constructed of 4 layers of accetate evenly hung to give the illusion of depth and space. An orange accetate layer was used to suggest the idea of a glowing lamp inside the room. The layers were attached to a base and suspended from a tripod. The camera was in a fixed point and would zoom in slowly as the layers of accetate were folded over as if physically moving through the window to the candle in the room behind.
PROCESSES: Creating collage images of a window that were photocopied onto accetate. Layers were taped together and then fixed to a tripod that was set up out of shot.
